For a long time I have been thinking about beginning a blog to keep track of my experiences and endeavors, now a discussion with a friend over dinner has finally lead to its creation, as I am taking a years break between the bachelor and master portions of my medical degree it is the ideal time! Although I primarily live in Maastricht (the southernmost city of the Netherlands, bordering Belgium and Germany) I plan to spend time in various other Dutch cities over the coming months to practice speaking the language. There will be more posts about these jobs and cities to follow!

I will also be posting about my medical internships, general travel, my own art, food (vegan recipes and innumerable variations of chamomile tea!), crafty bits (knitting and garment sewing), and aerial silks classes - so lots of exciting things!
