The visitor: the exam (3/3)

Unfortunately having fun with Fem in Haarlem came to an end on the day of my NT2 spreken exam. We got up early for a decent breakfast, and left for the main station for a train to Eindhoven.

We arrived with sufficient time for a 'calm-down-its-not-the-end-of-the world' lunch at Bagels & Beans; 2 mushroom burgers with hummus on "everything" bagels. Calmed down as much as was probably possible, I completed my exam (not entirely sure of how it went after being thoroughly intimidated by the government officials regulating the facilities who just happened to stand behind me for the length of the test), and was relieved when it was over, then lucky to walk straight onto the train back to Haarlem.

After sleeping for the majority of the ride back, I was very glad to be back at the hostel, and enjoyed a soy cappuccino & speculaas biscuit before hitting netflix and my bed. A chilled evening at home, with tea and tasty dinner (spicy stir fry noodles) was totally necessary to unwind out of exam-mode and to get back into relaxed hostel life before another wedding party was due to arrive the next day. Tot dan!
