Professional Pillows

The morning following the wedding called for 60 eggs worth of scrambled eggs, 8 kettles worth of tea, 4 entire loaves of bread, copious amounts of hagelslag, and cleaning all 55 beds between 11am (check out) and 3pm (check in). To tackle this task we split up to clean rooms, making the work faster, but simultaneously 100 times more boring. Obviously this lead to my making an instructional video on how to fold professional pillows.  Despite an honourable effort, I've not managed to combine the video with a clip of this song from my one of my all time favourite shows, but I think you can imagine how great it would have been if I'd succeeded. 

1. Place the pillow inside the case, and lay the open end toward you

2. Lift the top flap from the centre point with your left hand 

3. Use your right hand to pick up the centre point from the bottom flap and place it down inside the case on top of the pillow (as far as it can go)

4. Drop the top flap with your left hand, and pick it up again at the centre point of where the cover touches the edge of the pillow inside 

5. Tuck the top fold inside the case (as far as it can go)

6. Use both hands to push out edges

7. Sleep!

For our help at the wedding we enjoyed pizza & at the city beach from the owner of the hostel. Second time in one week - no regrets - perhaps explained as marking my one week to  anniversary of moving to Haarlem?
